DAILY USE:

For daily use, whether average or heavy, simply remove lid after sessions or overnight to ventilate unit. The prefilter quickly dries naturally, usually fully dried before each next session. But in addition to popping off lid, customers may also occasionally purge collected resin from prefilter in alcohol as needed.

*Important to note. There is actually no need to ever manually dry (or clean) anything daily. That is a fallacy. Everything is optional. These are merely options I provide for any wishing to increase lifespan.

But as for the distinction between heavy and average users, average users need not do anything but use the unit to outlast everything else. And only if they choose, they've got the following 2 options to last even longer.

• Ventilate the unit after use
• Occasionally clean prefilter as needed

That's it.

HEAVY USERS:

Heavier users on the other hand naturally create more moisture and resin buildup, which means more demand on the filters. This, of course, is normal for any personal air filter. That said, rotating multiple units is a far better option than simply continuously using one until saturated.

Pro Tip (what no one else tells you): Rotate enough to avoid saturation, multiply the life of each in rotation. These words of advice are actually true for any brand.

But in addition to removing lids between sessions and occasionally purging resin from prefilter, users with heavier demand can also do the following to maximize longevity:

• Rotate multiple Smoke Erasers
• Use a Docking Station as needed to help dry stubborn moisture from HEPA filter

I often see my experienced heavy users regularly rotating units and then buy a random 2 Smoke Eraser/Dock or 3 Smoke Eraser/Dock (once). This of course to add a Dock to the mix as it is a smart way to score one cheaper to keep on deck. Adding the Dock just maximizes lifespan, convenience, and bang for the buck.

TIPS FOR VAPERS:

Vape rigs can introduce a tremendous amount of moisture into HEPA filters due to the high number of daily draws many users take.

For heavier vapor use, adding a Docking Station and/or rotating units is also recommended to help reduce moisture-related restriction and improve overall longevity.

TIPS FOR REDUCING SIDE-STREAM SMOKE:

Smoke Eraser fully eliminates exhaled smoke, but side-stream smoke (or smoke off the end) still matters.

For best results, follow these common sense tips to reduce side-stream smoke and odor:

• Avoid anything that continuously burns (joints, cigarettes, etc.).
• With bong or one-hitter, make sure to always fully clear chamber.
• Cover the bowl/end immediately after each hit to extinguish the cherry.
• Of course, crack a window whenever possible.

A little common sense goes a long way.
