Keep it clean and dry
A clean and dry HEPA and prefilter is key to longevity. Just remove lid and prefilter each night to ventilate. If necessary, also purge any collected resin from the prefilter in alcohol. That'll give you about 1000 uses per unit. Far more than any competitor.
